July 10-11, 1919, probably taken in the garden of Max and Sima's State College, PA home. Collection of 4 photos. Son Joseph was born two months earlier. Sima's birth year was reported as 1891, making her 28 at the time of these photos, but she looks much older (and may well have been). A second child, a daughter, did nor survive childbirth in 1922.
